Project Engineer - Weapons Development-08031 *SEE NOTE BELOW



Will serve as project engineer responsible for technical aspects of a program; expedite program critical path activities to maintain contractual schedule progress while insuring technical compliance with contract requirements.

•Liaison with program management, manufacturing, production planning, quality assurance, and procurement functional organizations at Nammo Talley and key suppliers, to insure technical compliance of development systems, subsystems, and components with contract requirements.
•Prepare and present technical reports and presentations to customers and suppliers
•Plan, support, witness, and report on critical program test activities
•Plan, conduct/support and report on program analytical activities
•Prepare and review design change documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with program technical requirements
•Develop product improvement design change proposals in concert with key suppliers, internal functional organizations, and customer representatives, to enhance product producibility, reliability, and functionality.
• Conduct failure investigation and corrective action analysis efforts for test failures
•Support preparation of technical proposals, program schedules, and cost estimates



Required Education/Experience
•B.S. degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or Chemical Engineering
•Minimum five years experience as a development engineer of military/aerospace systems/subsystems
•Must be eligible for DOD security clearance at the secret level
•Ability to obtain ATF approval to work with our product
•Travel required

Preferred Education/Experience
•Warhead/Fuze design and integration
•Portable shoulder launched weapons
•Systems engineering
•Experience with internal ballistics and propulsion systems
